Jesus, in long white robes, is preparing for a stealth attack, strafing right, his back to the wall, looking over his shoulder, coming up on the corner. He signals to someone off-camera three quick hand signals. 
 
Around the corner, you can see two giant human-sized flies, dressed in military guard uniforms. One of them says something in fly language quietly to the other, his mouth parts buzzing and flapping. The other salutes and briskly walks away, turning down a corridor.
 
Now is Jesus's chance. In a flash, he springs into action, coming up behind the remaining fly and bringing him into a headlock, immediately disarming him, and with a touch of two fingers on the fly's neck, rendering him unconscious. He quietly crumples in Jesus's arms and slides to the floor.
 
Fast cut to: 
 
Jesus's hand is unlocking and opening a cage. Out steps a child who stretches and shouts, “Thank you, Jesus!” Jesus smiles down at the little girl, as she embraces him. Then she seems to ascend off of the floor, turns to light and disappears.
 
Fast cut to:
 
An army of assorted demons, skeletons, ghosts, and monsters slowly advancing towards the camera.
 
Fast cut to: 
 
A mysterious man in a black hat punching his way through a crowd of skeletons. Just as they are about to hit him with swords, his fist hits a skull, and it explodes into dust, in slow motion.
 
Fast cut to:
 
A girl, perhaps a young teenager, waves a magic wand and it turns into a giant snake which flies through the air and attacks several chicken-like monsters.
 
Fast cut to: 
 
A fat man laughs loudly and warmly in reaction to the girl's snake attack, while loading a crossbow. Behind him, a bald, bearded man peers stoically down at the situation, carrying a giant axe.
 
Fast cut to:
 
A menacing dragon flying through the “sky” (really a vast underground expanse) rearing its head back, breathing fire into the air. The music has been steadily intensifying to this moment, when it suddenly drops to near-silence.
 
Fast cut back to Jesus. 
 
Jesus: I bring not peace...
 
Fast cut through several demons distinctive demons, which we see each for only a fraction of a second.
Jesus: ...BUT A SWORD!
 
With this, Jesus brandishes a flaming sword, which illuminates the faces of the demons that surround him.
The music returns in a triumphant crescendo and climaxes.
 
Fire spreads out to form the words: JESUS IN HELL 
 
Cut to black
 
Return to Title Screen, on a loop
 
Music restarts

Against Curtis Yarvin, a.k.a. Mencius Moldbug

  CURTIS YARVIN IS A POSTMODERNIST  "They Hate Us For Our Freedom"   Since 2007, there has been a tiny, marginal movement on the internet, or several overlapping movements, started by a person named Curtis Yarvin, better known by his assumed name, "Mencius Moldbug."  (I'll use that name; it's less obscure.)  Spreading out from Silicon Valley, where it first became trendy, the movement(s) have been known by various names.  Moldbug originally called his political philosophy "formalism" - at that time, he was advocating for the government being run in the style of a corporation - especially a Silicon Valley startup - with a powerful CEO.  But that never caught on, and he abandoned it in favor of "neo-cameralism."  But this turned out not to capture anyone's imagination either, and so other names appeared: the Dark Enlightenment, neo-monarchism, and most famous of all, the "NeoReactionary movement" - NRx for short.  Are all thes...

Why Sam Harris is Wrong About Free Will

  "Free Will" vs. "Determinism" What does it mean to have "solved" a philosophical problem?  This is, in itself, a philosophical problem.  I don't feel comfortable saying I've solved any philosophical problems, but what if I propose a notion of having "minimally solved" a problem - that is, not necessary coming up with the right answer, let alone an answer that will end the debate for everyone, but coming up with the general shape or framework (perhaps missing some important specifics) of an answer that satisfies me , at least to the point where the problem doesn't endlessly torture me and keep me up at night?  If, by "solved," we mean "minimally solved," then I think I have solved the problem that is usually called the debate between "free will" and "determinism".  Not that my answer is particularly original.  Actually, not I, but modern neuroscience solved this puzzle.  And all I mean is tha...
